President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Bisi Akande, former Governor of Osun State, as the chairman of the University of Ibadan’s Governing Council.
Gatekeepers News reports that the President also appointed Wole Olanipekun (SAN) as chairman of the University of Lagos, Isa Yuguda as chairman of the National Open University of Nigeria, and Yayale Ahmed as chairman of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
This was made known in a list attached to a statement released on Friday by the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri.
The list also includes Joy Emordi, Attahiru Jega, and Udoma Udo Udoma, among others.
