Edo Broadcasting Services (EBS) has announced the launch of EBS Tonight, its revamped flagship news programme set to debut on August 4, 2025.
Gatekeepers News reports that Sulaiman Aledeh, the Managing Director/ Editor-in-Chief of EBS Nigeria made the announcement in a statement on Saturday, July 19.
Aledeh revealed that the expanded format will broadcast from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, offering comprehensive news coverage, in-depth analysis from industry experts, and engaging interviews.
This initiative marks a historic milestone as it will be the first dedicated evening news programme of its kind from the South of Nigeria, underscoring our unwavering commitment to delivering timely, insightful, and compelling news to our viewers across Nigeria and beyond.
Noting that EBS milestone extends beyond television, the MD revealed that EBS Radio, now accessible globally through its online presence, continues to bring Nigerian news, culture, and conversation to a worldwide audience.
