Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been sentenced to life imprisonment following his conviction on terrorism charges.
Gatekeepers News reports that on Thursday, Justice James Omotosho handed down the sentence, ruling that Kanu would serve life in prison for Counts 4, 5, and 6 of the seven-count charge. He was also given a 20-year jail term for Count 2.
