“Marriage No Easy O…” — Timi Dakolo Urges Critics Not To Mock Couples Facing Challenges

Timi Dakolo has appealed to people to stop ridiculing couples going through difficulties in their marriages, stressing that marriage comes with its own struggles and realities.

Gatekeepers News reports that the singer shared the message in a social media post on Tuesday amid ongoing public conversations surrounding celebrity marriages and divorce.

Dakolo advised people whose marriages are working to remain grateful instead of mocking others battling challenges in their relationships. He also noted that outsiders rarely know the private struggles couples face behind closed doors.

“Marriage no easy o, if your own Dey work. Thank God and enjoy am. No mock people wey Dey struggle with am. Love and light,” he said.

The singer’s comments come amid renewed public attention on the separation between Frank Edoho and his ex-wife Sandra Edoho following fresh allegations and counterclaims involving the former couple.

According to reports, Sandra accused the television host of domestic violence, infidelity and emotional abuse during their marriage. She alleged that Edoho constantly humiliated and physically abused her before their separation in 2011. Sandra also claimed he threatened her life at some point in the relationship and shared alleged photos of bruises online.

The controversy escalated after Edoho accused Sandra of having an affair with singer Chike while they were still married. The media personality reportedly claimed he made efforts to save the marriage despite discovering alleged evidence of the affair.

The former couple, who married in 2004 and share children together, have continued to generate debate online as social media users react to the allegations from both sides.

Dakolo, who married Busola Dakolo in 2012, has often spoken publicly about family values and relationships. The couple have three children together.
