Shakira and Burna Boy’s collaboration, “Dai Dai,” has been named among Spotify’s five global Songs of Summer for 2026.

Gatekeepers News reports that Spotify released its final list on Thursday, with the track securing the fourth position among songs that defined the summer across the Northern Hemisphere.

“Dai Dai,” which also serves as the official soundtrack of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has enjoyed strong global streaming figures. According to TheCable, the song spent 37 days at No. 1 on Spotify’s global chart and topped the charts in 17 countries, including Germany, Portugal and Switzerland.

The platform’s editorial team described the collaboration as an example of how music and sport can bring audiences together, particularly through Shakira’s global appeal and Burna Boy’s Afrobeats influence.

Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me” topped the final ranking. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” came second, while Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s “Rein Me In” placed third.
