Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemates, Ngozi “Erica” Nlewedim on Monday night spoke about her relationship with her colleagues.
Gatekeepers News reports that on the eighth day of the BBNaija reunion, the host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked Erica questions on why she doesn’t have a good relationship with housemates like Wathoni, Vee and Laycon after they left Biggie’s house.
Erica was disqualified on the 6th of September, 2020 over the altercation she had with Laycon. She was found guilty of bullying, defacing Biggie’s property, among other offences.
Speaking on her relationship with Laycon after the house, Erica said she regretted calling Laycon her best friend before they fell apart on the show.
Gatekeepers News reports that she noted that she can no longer trust the musician who was crowned winner of the ‘Lockdown’ edition.
In her words: “I think he’s just a snake and he’s just going to act to make people pity him as usual. He acts like a saint which is not going to be genuine. So, I don’t think there’s really any relevance.
“We only knew each other like for two months right in my 27 years of living? I can’t trust anything that comes out of his mouth.’
“As I look at him, I still feel very stupid forever saying that he was my best friend in the house who always got my back and all of that.
“There was a video I saw where he said ‘if I had the chance to talk to Erica, I’ll tell her she is smart…’, are we not on the same group chat, uncle? Why are you pretending?”
Asked about her relationship with Vee, Erica said she doesn’t know her (Vee) neither does she exist in her space.
“I don’t think about her. Vee doesn’t exist to me.
“She said a lot of negative things that are not relevant to me.
“So what’s the point of being friends with someone who has said so many negative things about me?
“Everyone has their reasons for doing things. We are all adults,” she said.
About Wathoni, Erica claimed she felt negative energy from her after the reality show. She said their relationship further deteriorated after she noticed Wathoni was always talking about her (Erica) intimacy with Kiddwaya during her interviews.
“Wathoni had always had an issue with me right from the house. After the house I noticed she kept talking about Kidd and I in bed rather than promoting herself.
“That made me distance myself from her and I got energy vibes from her and stayed away.”
After they both argued as Wathoni defended herself, the duo reconciled and hugged each other.
