Roma Coach, Jose Mourinho has acknowledged that his players are of average quality.
Gatekeepers News reports that Jose Mourinho has admitted that his Roma Players are of average quality after a humiliating 6-1 Europa Conference League defeat to Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.
Mourinho while speaking to Sky Sport Italia said, “I’m the one who decided to play with the team we use tonight, so it’s my responsibility.”
Mou who didn’t hesitate to question the quality of the players he has at his disposal in the Eternal City said “we have a very good team; we don’t have a very good squad. We didn’t play with the team, we played with the squad, and we were punished by that.”
The Portuguese earlier questioned Brian Reynolds, Riccardo Calafiori, and Marash Kumbulla’s ability to play for the Giallorossi, and each of the three started on the night as Roma suffered an embarrassing away defeat.
He, however, added “If I could use the same players every match I would. We were punished because they are better than us.”
