Political ambition of Eunice Atuejide, 2019 Presidential candidate of the National Interest Party to contest for the Federal House of Representatives, under the All Progressives Congress has been welcomed with several reactions from Nigerians.
Gatekeepers News earlier reported that Atuejide has declared interest to represent Igbo-Etiti, and Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency, Enugu State, Southeast Nigeria in the green chamber.
Atuejide after withdrawing from the presidential race in 2019, campaigned for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Her announcement to contest under the APC has taken many by surprise and generated several reactions on Twitter.
A Tweep FO wrote, “When younger people can’t be true enough to their convictions, the older folks will NEVER take us serious.
You disparaged Buhari and said 4 more years of him will mean no more Nigeria…so please in specific terms

However, a tweep Piuscillyn congratulated her in advance, and advised her to “Please ignore those who criticize your ambition especially with your chosen political party because they don’t understand politics all. They are theoretically very correct but practically incorrect. Apparently practical politics wins election.”
BSA tweeted: “You have my support Madam. You’re now serious to help in building a better Nigeria. My family and I won’t or can’t vote in Enugu, BUT we will do our possible best to support in other ways. Note Ma – APC isn’t and can’t be PDP. I welcome you as you join a party where party…”
