Nigerian gospel music artist, Sammie Okposo is dead.
Gatekeepers News reports that family sources disclosed that the internationally acclaimed gospel artist slumped on Friday morning and died.
He was aged 51.
Earlier this year, Okposo’s public apology to his wife, Ozioma made the headline. The gospel singer apologised for cheating on her with another woman in the United States in an incident that happened in 2021.
Afterwards, he made the decision to take time off from ministration to retrace his step with God before returning to ministry after a few months.
In May, Okposo escaped death in a ghastly car accident at third mainland bridge in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria but the veteran singer said he “was saved from the hands of the devil and his cohorts.”
