Governor of Edo State, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, will on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, flag off emergency palliative works on several failed sections of roads in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area.
Gatekeepers News reports that the roads to be repaired include the Auchi – Igarra – Aiyetoro – Uneme – Nekhua – Aiyegunle – Ekpesa – Ibillo – Ekor – Ikiran-Oke – Ikakumo Junction.
The event is scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM along the Auchi-Igarra Road.
The governor’s initiative is expected to strengthen communities and boost economic activities in the area.
Residents and stakeholders are expected to turn out in large numbers to witness the flag-off ceremony.
