President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, criticised Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi regarding Obi’s stance on a proposed one-term presidency.
Gatekeepers News reports that Bwala referred to Obi’s commitment to a one-term limit as a “scam-phrase,” suggesting a lack of sincerity in the promise.
Bwala also mentioned that a former associate of Obi indicated that he is experiencing an identity crisis.
He wrote: “Breaking: ‘Peter Obi is suffering from identity crisis’ This words came from one of his 2023 presidential election handlers
“His latest scam-phrases is ‘I will do a one term.’”
Obi had sparked controversy over the weekend when he reiterated his long-standing position on serving only one term as president.
“It is within this context that I reiterate my vow: I will serve only one term of four years if elected President. And that vow is sacrosanct,” he had said.
