The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Thursday joined organisations nationwide in celebrating Customer Service Week, pledging to strengthen its focus on the welfare and satisfaction of the public.
Gatekeepers News reports that in a flier released to mark the occasion, the NPF reiterated its resolve to ensure that citizens remain central to its operations and service delivery.
“The Nigeria Police Force celebrates Customer Service Week as we renew our commitment to placing you at the heart of our service,” the flier read.
The weeklong celebration — observed globally during the first week of October — recognises the importance of quality service delivery and honours those who support and engage with customers daily.
Across Nigeria, both public and private institutions use the event to connect with clients and reaffirm their dedication to improved service standards.
By participating in this year’s observance, the police said it aims to strengthen trust between officers and the communities they serve, underscoring a commitment to people-centred policing.
