All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled its governorship primary elections in Bauchi and Kwara States, moving the exercises to Friday.
Gatekeepers News reports that according to party officials, the adjustment was made to allow for better organisation and smooth conduct of the primaries across the affected states.
The party leadership also said the shift is part of efforts to ensure credible and transparent selection of flagbearers ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Delegates and aspirants in both states have been informed of the new date, while the APC assured that all necessary arrangements would be completed before the rescheduled primaries take place.
The development comes amid heightened political activities within the party as various aspirants intensify consultations and mobilisations ahead of the governorship contests.
