Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, on Tuesday visited the scene where retired broadcaster, MS Kitan Oyesiku, and her security guard were allegedly killed.

Gatekeepers News reports that during the visit, the police commissioner conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the premises and received a briefing from detectives overseeing the investigation into the incident.

Ojajuni also confirmed the recovery of the deceased’s Lexus RX300, which was earlier reported missing from the residence.

“It is worthy of note that the vehicle earlier reported missing from the residence, a Lexus RX300, has been recovered by police operatives during the night hours. The vehicle has since been secured as part of the ongoing investigation,” he said.

The commissioner reiterated the command’s determination to thoroughly investigate the case and ensure that those responsible for the killings are identified, arrested and prosecuted.

He expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and reassured residents of Ogun State that the police were deploying all necessary resources to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Ojajuni further disclosed that investigators had made significant progress in the case and assured the public that further updates would be provided as the investigation progresses.
