Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season six will begin on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
Gatekeepers News reports that this year’s edition will run for 72 days and end on October 3, 2021.
Multichoice Nigeria customer officer, Martin Mabutho, on Monday, announced that the reality show will premiere with two opening ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday and will air from 7 pm on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 with a simulcast on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family.
Gatekeepers News gathered that, unlike previous editions, there will be no SMS voting for season 6 as fans will be allowed to vote for their favourite housemates for free via BBNaija’s official website and mobile app as well as on the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps.
The organiser had earlier disclosed that the winner of this year’s edition will walk away with a whopping N90 million grand prize, the highest since BBNaija debuted in 2006.
Season 5 was won by Olamilekan ‘Laycon’ Agbeleshe and he received N85 million grand prize which includes a cheque of N30 million, Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) from Innoson Motors, and a luxury two-bedroom apartment by Revolution Properties.
