Stakeholders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State have endorsed Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dauda Lawal for re-election in the 2027 general elections.

Gatekeepers News reports that the endorsement was announced during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held at the Government House in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.

The meeting brought together key party figures, including former governors such as Ahmed Yarima, Mahmuda Shinkafi, Abdulaziz Yari, and Bello Matawalle, alongside elected officials, elders, and representatives of youth and women groups from all 14 local government areas of the state.

Speaking at the gathering, Lawal described the move as strategic, noting that political activities ahead of the 2027 elections are gradually gaining momentum. He said aligning with the APC would help Zamfara strengthen collaboration with the federal government and benefit from national development initiatives.

He added that his administration remains focused on restoring stability, rebuilding institutions, and improving service delivery, while urging party members to maintain unity and discipline within the party.

In a communique presented at the meeting, stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to the APC and declared support for the re-election bids of both Tinubu and Lawal, while also highlighting the need to address security challenges and strengthen party cohesion ahead of the polls.
